I'm seeing double...

07.07.06 - 07.07.08

Well it was two years ago yesterday that the most beautiful babies entered into this world and into our family. I really cannot believe that my babies are 2 years old. We have had so much fun with them over the last 24 months... my how time flies...

Things I have learned and loved over that last 2 years...

2x as many poopy diapers (but that goes without saying :-)

2x as many giggles

2x the cuteness

2x as many people want to stop and touch my babies

2x as much hand sanitizer needed (see above)

2x the snuggles and love

2x the excitement and awe at newly discovered cabinets

2x the fascination with dental floss

2x the love for their blankies and flowers (aka their pacifiers)

2x the cost for a babysitter - thank goodness for grandmas

2x the enjoyment of being a mom

We started their birthday off with a very big breakfast...
this is them looking chipper as always first thing in the morning.

Then later in the evening we had all the family over for swimming, pizza and cake.
This is really how cake should be ate!

Of course Brooke didn't want to have anything to do with messy frosting and cake... she's no fun!  She is definitely our girly-girl.

And this is them showing off their cool new glasses... what cuties!!!

And just for kicks and grins...

Random photos...

Whenever I have a photo shoot planned at my house in my little “studio” I always beg and plead with the kiddos to sit for just a second so that I can get the lights and set up just right before the actual shoot. Well, in doing that, I always end up with the most random of photos... ENJOY! [taken December 2011]

Tough Mudder

Here are some videos of the  Tough Mudder challenge that Scott took part in (January 2012). So incredibly proud of these guys... I present to you... the Dirty Dads! And here is a FUNNY video I took of the final obstacle...not of the boys, but still so hilarious to watch!

Someone had a birthday...

Albeit almost 6 months ago, but better late than never. Samantha turned 9 years old in January and I cannot believe how big she is. Every once in a while I will catch a glimpse of her and just think to myself...WOW, you are all mine...I get to keep you forever!! I love that she is in our family and it would not be the same without her.
