Born in the USA, doing the best that I can...

OK, so to some the title of this post may seem weird... to others (and you know who you are) this is very fitting.

Sometimes I loose sight of the end goal and forget to remind myself that I am doing the best that I can.  I absolutely ADORE my children and they are the light of my life... but they're rascals through and through... 

This post is to remind me that 5 year olds ARE sassy, goofy, and completely brilliant and that 2 year old twins LOVE dirt and sticky foods and that without a doubt will always misbehave when I absolutely need them to be at their very best.

Someone had a birthday...

Albeit almost 6 months ago, but better late than never. Samantha turned 9 years old in January and I cannot believe how big she is. Every once in a while I will catch a glimpse of her and just think to myself...WOW, you are all mine...I get to keep you forever!! I love that she is in our family and it would not be the same without her.
