Just a moment of your time...

If you don't know how much Sam loves animals well then feel free to call her up anytime and quiz her on any species of ANY animal. She's kind of a walking version of Animal Planet... it's just plain weird. Anyway, the reason for this post is that she has been such the proud owner and caregiver of our new dog Roxy and she has been doing a really great job which is why I let her convince me to enter Roxy in to a locally sponsored contest for Arizona's top pet. If you have just a second our Roxy girl could sure use some love and votes HERE. Once you're at the site click on Vote for the Dogs, then click on Gallery #7 and she is the 17th pic, ID# 1719. You can't miss it...it's a big pic of Roxy and the 3 kiddos.

Thanks a bunch!

Whoa baby, it's been a lonnnng time!

OK, here we go... my attempt to play catch up... Scrolling down you see it was just a few posts ago that I was so proud of my new lil 2nd grader. Well as time so often does it just flew right by and we just wrapped up 2nd grade year... watch out 3rd grade. As tradition in our house here is Sam's mini shoot commemorating her 2nd grade year.

Another before and after... this one is not so dramatic...

Before: 4 bandanas (2 zebra print & 2 pink polka dot) After: 1 very ADORABLE bandana dress and 1 super STYLISH bandana shirt Now I know this is not a new concept here, but I am really quite proud of my little sewing creation. So proud that I'm sure the girls are going to be screaming and chanting 'put down the bandana and just walk away'. These were oh so (and sew) easy!!! I'm seeing one in every color and pattern for the girls... oh the possibilities!!

Now I know why...

Today, for the first time, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I get it. I am now in the club. I now know why most moms only want a family photo as their gift for Christmas, birthday, Mother's Day or any other gift-giving holiday. Why do I know this... because today was OUR family picture day and it was everything I wanted and more. I don't care if no one looked at the camera, I don't care if we all had something stuck in our teeth... it was a picture of me and my most favorite people on earth and that right there is worth more to me than ANYTHING that could ever be purchased. So, in honor of picture day I just couldn't help but grab my own camera as soon as we got home to get a few shots of my own since we were all lookin' uber cute. Completely random pics, most out of focus (I really am working to train Scott and Sam), but just a little sneak peek of us...
